Not that I dont have enough things to spend money on, but I think before the 650 is back up and running I should get a rekluse for it (if available) I checked a few back and it wasnt available yet.  What you guys did in baja I dont know, but when my bike stalls and its hot... fuggedabodit

Bike started good when you cracked the throttle a little. maybe a jetting or decompression adjustment or valves. I was wide open most of the time in Baja so no stalling except when I blew through the whoop section into a bush haha.

I'll let you guys try the lazy clutch out at majestic. I'm sure we will be going in the next few weeks. I was contemplating on taking it off and selling it but I will try it first.

I had a lazy clutch on my YFZ450 quad.  It was pretty cool, but i didn't do technical stuff back then so it seemed pointless.  Then i burned it up, and took it to the best golf cart mechanics in Wayne County to fix it.  The jackass didn't use Rekluse plates, but instead regular OEM plates, and the Rekluse never worked propertly after that.

You had a rekluse on your quad?  Seems like you should of just got a vforce or a sportsman at that point!

Funny that you say that,  because previously to the YFZ, I had a VForce.  Or KFX700 as it was known then because a certain Italian intake make had VForce trademarked.

It came with the Rekluse, I bought it from a lady who drag raced it.   They had all sorts of goodies on there, lowering kit, TC Racing shorty exhaust, K&N air filter, and a few other things.  I took most of that shit off and eBayed it.

Congrats on the new bike!!  I had a Rekluse Z-start pro in my 2007 CRF 250R and felt it was a complete waist of money.  I only bought it to keep the bike from stalling in the woods, which it still would stall just not as easily.  I bought my RM 250 with one installed, so I'll see how it feels in that.  I think they work better in the larger bikes.  The small bores you have to use the clutch constantly to make power, so there wasn't much of an advantage in it on my CRF.

It seems like it would be great on a 250 smoker in the woods, where you need to be on the clutch constantly to keep it moving.  At least for me it would, maybe not for you faster guys since you are carrying more speed.  With that said i couldn't see spending all the cash on one which is why I don't have one.

I rode a KX250F with a Rekluse in it on the Cato track last year, and it defintely felt different.  It was pretty cool.

Now on a 450 where you have torque out the anus and a fat ass powerband, maybe not so much.   But it is a neat piece of trickery to have.

I feel it makes people lazier and dumber. Pretty soon you will have no clutch control. I'm sure it has its advantages, for me I would lose a part of riding with it.

As you said before de educating the use of a clutch 1 at a time!
