look on ebay or thumper talk for used springs.  You could get a full set for $100

us? off topic? never happens!

I'm tired of this shitty winter and being stuck in the house doing nothing all day. Dating is getting to damn expensive. I need to get out and ride and forget everything else.

Go ride now it's beautiful today! Me and the kid have been outside the last few hours doing yard work and picking up dog land mines.

yeah I pick up the dog stuff. Salt water is mixing now to change in the fish tank, loading the trailer up and packing my stuff to live at the track all week. Nobody to ride with around here and nowhere to really ride.

You might be able to blow off some steam and ride at A51 a little bit.

Not sure what a set of springs cost through Gary but these people are pretty cheap and you tell them what you need.

Since we are off topic, let me summarize...

Adam you need heavier springs, those ones on there are making your bike a pogo stick.  Also when you put new springs in there you will have to change the fork oil which probably needs to be done anyway.

Today was an awesome day, I spent the morning working at Hogback and the afternoon riding there.  I'm so tired and I can barely move.  Might go back tomorrow if I find motivation to do it again (hence the reason my bike is not washed).

Back on topic. I know of a sweet 08 CRF450R for sale if your friend is ready to buy.
