I had a blast. Many thanks to all you guys that put this event together.

Agreed, you guys did a great job.

An August event would be awesome. Those trails would be absolutely epic if they were dry.  And, there'd be a lot less "skiing" to do on the bikes too probably. :)

I agree, I think it was a poor choice of dates.  It was the same day that the Newark enduro would have been run.  There is nothing they can do about the weather, but odds are that the weather would be better in the summer months.  They were also competing with the moto at Hogback (which was cancelled) and an enduro in Hancock, NY.

You could have done it on yours without issue I am thinking.

The first loop was 90% trail and the roads we did do were in the middle of no where.  One stretch went right by The Farm.

Ben B showed up with a YZ250 with no lights at all, and a license plate screwed to the hand guard.  Street legal?  I think so.  LOL.

BTW the creek washout you guys like to ride up on Jack's side was an actual creek, that sent water a good solid 1/4 to 1/2 mile down the trail.  That's how much rain we got.

i think it being in october is a good idea, its cooler out instead of sweating your ass off in august. it just happened to be rainy is all.

I'd prefer 90 degrees over mud, although in late August, neither is likely.

yeah in the spring that washout is a river too. it makes it much more challenging. if i had a headlight i would have thought about doing it. thats funny that ben showed up on his yz. it sounded like the second half of the day was on a lot more roads.

It has been my experience, that time of the year there is a 50/50 chance of rain and mud.

Yup and I just spent the last 4 days camping in the fing rain.  I literally hooked the trailer to the truck yesterday and the sun came out.

45 windy and rainy makes perfect camping conditions!

try camping the continental divide (Nez Perce Pass) in october!  10 days of that and I good on camping for a decade or so.

However... while there I was thinking that we could establish an enduro that would be comparible to Erzberg.

Hate to say it buddy but I'm smarter then trying that.  I kept the heat set around 65 lmao and I call it camping!

Had a great time, thank you to all the workers and promoters. I rode the whole thing but wanted to stop at the break, instead I changed into a dry jersey and gloves and absolutely loved the 2nd half. Me and my buddy could have kept riding at the end it was such a blast.
