Ed, Any info on the Knapp Creek atv dice run this Saturday? Length, what's the trail like, hows the weather? I'm thinking to back out of going to the rally cause it will cost me $200 in gas just to go watch and ride this instead

Awesome! Yeah sounds good about meeting at your house. I might have a friend on a xr 650 that wants to see how well he can off road it before he does the monkey butt ride but I won't know until last minute.

Sounds good. There is a chance I may not be able to get there but I'm 60% sure I am.

Looks like its a go for this Sat. My buddy on a xr650 might go to see if he would be able to do the monkey butt ride. Looks like thunder storms all day and night on Friday and rain all day on Saturday so I will probably bring the yamaha instead.

What does your buddy have added on this 650 that might not have been stock?  I'm gonna start tearing mine apart here real soon.  When I put it back together, i want it capable of doing "other" events such as this.  as far as a plate is concerned, I'll throw my VTX plate on it if need be. Currently I have it registered as an ATV, so I'm going to pull an out of state trick with another buddy I'm thinking.
I have an insurance card already for the XR, if someone wants to bust my nuts after that go ahead.  I still would like to get as close to legit as possible.
