That air filter looks like a pain to clean. Nice bike tho!

Have you ever had a flat K&N airfilter drop in for an airbox in your car/truck?

They are very easy to clean I assume that one would be also.

Bike is pretty awesome

I like that bike!  Notice they are still rocking the Q Stealth too.

Buying a brand new bike will not be happening any time soon here.  But it is cool that they are pushing technology in their own direction.  I'm assuming they really want to get the brand main stream and stuff like that will help a lot.

the air filter is a new design but seems straightforward enough.

Yes I've run those k&n filters in all my trucks since I was 16. I've never raced a Dusty moto or submerged it under water. By the looks of it the dirt would be hard to get out of the mesh.

Rumor has it that they will have the option of a foam-only element, as well.

Rochester-Buffalo could really use a GasGas and a Husqvarna dealer.

All depends on how they seal it and if they have a pre filter. The key to running those in sloppy conditions would be the prefilter.

I ran a k&N in my old z400 without problem. Quads often put alot more water up by the air filter/air box area also.  Foam is still better in my book though.

I would prefer foam but I guess if it sits up high enough it might be ok.  Not sure on that one.

I know Gary from Race Tools was talking about doing Gas Gas but he'd probably have to have buyers first.

That would be really cool if Gary picked up GasGas (and KTM and Husqvarna too).  He definitely understands what off-road riders are looking for and need.

I used to run a K&N in my XR400 and never had a problem with it.

Wow! sometimes I have enough dirt on my foam filter when I get back grass can grow. I figured those pleated filters would be shot.

The innovation is impressive for a small company.

The bike looks amazing, but the Zoke forks make me nervous.  I've had bad experiences with them on my Husky.
