The 250 will also brake faster but it won't be as stable as the 520. You are going to think there is something wrong with the 250 motor after riding the big bike

i do like that i can keep the 520 in second gear idle into a corner and roll the throttle and power out with no clutch work or shifting. the breaks on the ktm are great but i know it is heavy ( i think 236lb ). maybe one of you guys would switch bikes with me for a lap or two when i see you at the track.

I would suggest a 250F for you as well.  I started on one of those, and had a blast with it. 

Once it got worn out I got a 250 two stroke and that was too much bike. I was wrestling it and fighting to keep it under control all the time.

we probably all would, who doesnt want to try a 520sx.

I know I sure do!  For MX it would be a great bike.

Yep, a 250F will require more shifting and more maintenance.

That 520 is probably a guaranteed holeshot!
