Now those are some whoops! Looks like ktm and rd have some work today.  RD and Reedy really had the whoops dialed.   Dungey and stewie better watch their backs with weimer.

i cant find a a link that plays smooth for the 450 race, but what i did see is that villipoto is the boss, the whoops were insane, and erin bates is full retard and needs to go.

LOL I was thinking that too.  But since that's the gold standard now it's OK.  Or, maybe we all just dislike him a little less than Stewart. :)

erin bates is full retard and needs to go.

Agreed.  She also is officially in the "retired hot chicks" group.  As in, probably used to be hot, but has aged past that.

Her interview with Tomac was ridiculous.  Sticks a microphone in the kid's face right after he crashed out, then starts asking him questions that he obviously doesn't want to answer.  Then they come back and Emig says "gee he has a bit of an attitude".  Well no shit, the kid was in first place and about to run away with the title when he crashed out.  He has a right to be pissed.

Agreed, I saw him in there and was surprised.

He was with Jack and Paul at Savannah a few years ago.  At one point I had crashed and restarted, and he stopped to see if I was OK.

Those guys were hauling balls and doubling the big table tops.  I can't imagine how fast Stewart, Reed, etc, are going.

Best 450 race I have watched for about as long as I can remember!  RV and Reed are not human! they cant be.  Watching Reed wheel tap with the rear on those last few laps in the whoops is beyond commitment.  Absolutley awesome.  Just seeing the track layout I would have wagered $100 that Js7 was gonna crash in the whoops, and he didnt disappoint.  Only way that could have gone better is if that cord pinned him by the throat.  The interview with Weimer sounds like he is getting ready to put his big girl panties on.  Next few weeks will determine if he does.

I just finished watching (and reprogramming my DVR) and your right; that's the best 450 race yet.  I have to say though, I thought Dungey was a little unfair about that one corner pass on the last lap.  He had already decided to take the outside line and Ryan tried to go in under him.  Seemed like he went out of his way to avoid making contact with him (and did), but Dungey didn't seem to see it that way.  It was a pretty tight pass, but Ryan could have made it a lot worse for him.

Again, from watching, Stewart is just a loose cannon.  He just doesn't ride with his head.  Everytime he needs to work at it, he just gets fast instead of getting smart. You can see it happen everytime; he gets behind, starts nailing it, rides beyond his ability, and crashes.

And he plays dirty to boot.  It was early on in the race, maybe lap 3 or 4 and you could tell he was deliberately trying to take out another rider n the corner with his back end.    Just plain stupid.

not really a good shot of the dungey/wiemer deal, but It didnt look like there was alot of contact.  If you dont want to get taken wide, dont take a wide line.  if it happens 3 times to you, its probably you.

Part of me feels sorry for Erin Bates.  Im sure the producers are the ones who have her ask dumb questions to a rider who just crashed out, but I think she would be obnoxious asking any question.

Reed is riding like a boss, maybe the best hes ever ridden.  But, Villopoto is just nuts, no one wants it as bad as him, and he has the mental side of racing down.
