3 = Expert Level Difficulty
4 = Brave Riders, for the very experienced only!!!

I assume that these rides would also be more tightly wooden and less dual sport?

Great list thank you.

Either tightly wooded or very rocky, but most have bypasses for the really difficult sections.

I just youtube'd some videos to get an idea on the difficulty. The nutcracker 200 is rated a 5 but looks like the same as the Beagle Bash which is rated a 1-3. The Monkey Butt is rated a 5 and I would rate the past event a 5 with all the rain the whole week but a 3 in good conditions. I'm not even a good rider so I dont think anyone should be afraid of going to a level 5 as long as its good weather. I still had a blast at the monkey butt despite being wet and cold.

Bill Kaepnerr is the promoter of the Nutcracker 200 and the Hanging Rock 200; and he's is a masochist!  You must have seen the easy sections of the Nutcracker.  Two "A" rider friends of mine went, they finished but they were BEAT afterwards.

The nice part about the Beagle Bash is it is all sand and sandy loam, so even if it rains it is still a great ride.  Actually, damp sand is better than dry sand.

If last year's Monkey Butt was drier, it would of been a 3 to 5 instead of a 5.  They still put some stupid stuff in, like the club property off of Buffalo Road, and that swamp off of Austin Road, behind Stone's, was ridiculous as well.  Even if it was dry, these sections would have still been very tough.
